Surprises are just incredibly fun!
Last week we had a group of 16 people joining Del Mar Surf Camp Co-Ed Camps. My excitement was huge to know that they were all couples and came to celebrate one of the members of the group Birth Day. What a magic way to celebrate your birthday. Taking all of you & your wife’s friends to Costa Rica to learn how to surf!
Healthy Vacations
These days, people are looking for different types of vacations. Not the ones were you used to sit down all day and eat, drink and try to move the least as possible to make sure that you get enough rest from your busy and stressful lives. Things have changed and people now look for vacations full of action, activities and healthy options. It is no secret that our bodies and mind will feel better and stronger if you exercise, eat healthy and stay active.
After a wonderful week of activities and programming all of the Cooper Group’s vacation, there was always something on my mind wondering: “Wow all this people look amazing, very fit, and just healthy.” Most of them have children at home waiting for them which made me feel more connected as I have two little ones. They all left their kids at home and came to celebrate their friends birth day learning how to surf. They just ROCK! For their last dinner, I went to say goodbye and get everyone’s contacts. Right there is when I found out the reason of my fit, good looking group for the week.
Cooper Aerobics – The One Who Started It All

Tyler Cooper, our birthday boy is just Dr. Kenneth Cooper‘s son. The person that introduced the word AEROBICS publishing his first bestseller in 1968. Launching a new concept for a worldwide fitness revolution.
I was speechless. Even more, when I read about them as soon as I got home and found out that Dr. Tyler Cooper serves as a preventive medicine physician at Cooper Clinic and CEO of Cooper Aerobics Enterprises. What an honor to have him at my camp. A person that helps people on a daily basis to find new ways to encourage healthy living.

I feel like my instructors are amazing, actually have some of the best surfers in Costa Rica teaching for Del Mar Surf Camp, but there was something special about this group learning how to surf and doing it so well. I guess that staying fit and healthy helps when you are deciding to learn a new sport. We had a blast all week and can’t wait to have them back in Costa Rica.
Pura Vida!
