Stand up paddle boarding was made popular by surf legend Laird Hamilton as a way to stay in shape when the surf was “flat”. The ultra long & stable board allows you to balance standing up, sitting, kneeling or laying on your stomach like surfing. You paddle with a single oar & cruise out in the ocean. Stand up paddle board instructors will teach you how to paddle out through the beach break, introduce you to different techniques and even catch some waves.
