Cancellation Policy & Booking
Del Mar Surf Camp Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to the camp start date, a 50% cancellation fee of your deposit will be charged. If you need to cancel your reservation 15-29 days prior to the camp start date, a 75% cancellation fee of your deposit will be charged. If you need to cancel your reservation within 15 days prior to the camp start, a 75% cancellation fee of the total package will be charged.
No exceptions to Cancellation Policy
There is no exception to cancellation policy including weather or personal emergencies, flight cancellations or delays. Del Mar Surf Camp recommends purchasing Travel Protection Insurance through your travel agent. If Del Mar Surf Camp must cancel a camp, all the payment received to date will be refunded.
Booking
Your surf adventure will be confirmed once you receive your confirmation email and/or call from Del Mar Surf Camp. The surf packages do not include airfare into Costa Rica, but they do include airport transfers. Please book your flights at your convenience, our transfer will be waiting for you at the time you require. For Nosara and Santa Teresa surf camps, a domestic flight is included. Please make sure you check with us or Nature Air schedules before booking your international flight.
Payment
You must pay at least 50% of the surf camp package or daily tour at the time of booking to reserve your spot at the camp. The remaining cost of the camp is due within 15 days before your arrival to the camp. It is important that you make sure you confirm your spot at the surf camp before booking your flight information.
Need Transportation to Nosara?
Hidden away in the remote town of Playa Guiones, Nosara, our packages include roundtrip airport transfer only from the Nosara Airport. If you would like for us to arrange transportation, we can offer round trip transportation from San Jose or Liberia to Nosara (either via airplane/ground shuttle depending on your flight information) for $400 USD/person. To travel by airplane from San Jose to Nosara, you should be at San Jose airport before 1 PM on Saturday (for local flight schedules please check www.natureair.com). Our packages include a pick up from the airport in Nosara to the beautiful retreat location in Playa Guiones, Nosara so you don’t have to worry about anything from the moment you land to the moment you leave.
