When engaging in any remunerated “adventure vacation” (surfing, horseback riding, ATV, stand up paddling etc), especially one involving inherent risks, you need the certainty of knowing that your vacation provider has taken the minimum safety measures to prevent injury and/or damages to you and/or to third parties. Additionally, you might want to take into consideration that your provider has gone through all safety and certification procedures in order to legally operate in Costa Rica. At Del Mar Surf Camp, as well as in the rest of its associated companies we take pride in assuring you that we have taken all the necessary measures to ensure your safety, thus limiting the risk of injury and damage to a bare minimum.

When hiring any adventure tours you might want to ask your provider two important questions:

  1. Do you have the proper certifications and permits to run this business?
  2. Are the members of your staff certified to take me out for surf lesson?
